The site is located at the east part of Hsinchu City, in the vicinity of Tsing Hua University Campus and Hsinchu Science Park, in between two major east-west arterial roads that easily connect to highway. The neighborhood includes Municipal Mackay Children’s Hospital to its west; an old community of old and low-rise buildings to its north; and new, mid rise buildings to its south and southwest. Although not a busy commercial area, it is convenient both in amenities and transportation. It is an optimal location for social housing of Hsinchu.

The Project provides 743 units, along with facilities for the physically challenged that include day care center, operation center, support station, and medical outpost for children. The Project shall enhance quality for open spaces and provide social support for the neighborhood.

The Design applies three colors of HURC logo to the building exteriors, including full application at openings and variations on the walls. From without one gets glimpse of the colors while full display of them when within the courtyard, reminiscent of flower bud transforming into full blossom.
