The site is an ＂L＂ shaped lot with irregular angles, and the program is a 24-story housing and a 14-story hotel. Since both building types target for non-specific users, the design theme focuses on the homogeneity and hetrogeneity of residential units. The facade is composed of homogeneous rectangular frames, and various elements are provided within the frames to meet differentiated internal uses and orientation. Among its fragmented and disordered environment, the two buildings compose an unique identity and also a landmark for cars travelling along adjacent Hsin Hsen elevated freeway.
